Health, Safety, Environment & Energy, Quality, and ESG Standards
As a specialist supplier of rare metals, refractory metals, powders, and metal hydride materials, we operate under clear, accountable standards for Health & Safety, Environment & Energy, Quality, Human Rights, and Corporate Ethics. These principles guide our internal operations and our global supply chain.
1. Health & Safety
We aim to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors, visitors, and neighboring communities.
Our commitments:
- Management System
We maintain a structured health and safety management system referencing ISO 45001 principles and subject it to regular internal reviews and external audits where applicable. - Risk Identification & Prevention
We identify and control risks in all critical processes using tools such as JSA/HAZOP-type assessments. Our target is zero serious safety incidents each year. - Employee Wellbeing
We support a respectful, secure, and comfortable workplace and encourage open communication on safety and wellbeing concerns. - Safety Training
All relevant personnel receive training on PPE use, emergency response, equipment safety, chemical handling, and hazard recognition, with documented participation. - Regulatory Compliance
We comply with applicable occupational health and safety laws and regulations in our operating locations and continuously benchmark against international best practices.
2. Environment & Energy
We recognize our responsibility in handling high-purity metals and powders and are committed to reducing environmental impact and improving energy efficiency.
Key actions:
- Compliance & Impact Control
Compliance with environmental regulations (such as applicable national Environmental Protection Laws and relevant EU/US requirements for supplied products) is a minimum standard. - Resource & Energy Efficiency
We improve process efficiency, promote recycling of metal scrap and by-products, and work to reduce energy consumption per unit of output. - Waste & Emissions Management
We target reduced waste generation, responsible classification of hazardous waste, and treatment through licensed partners, with a preference for recovery and recycling. - Environmental Awareness
Employees are regularly briefed on environmental responsibilities, including pollution prevention, chemical management, and responsible material use. - Transparency
Where requested by key customers or required by law, we share environmental and energy-related data in a transparent and accurate manner.
3. Quality
We supply materials for demanding applications and understand that stable quality and traceability are critical for our customers.
Our quality principles:
- Customer-Focused
We work closely with customers to define specifications, verification requirements, and documentation to ensure consistent performance in their processes. - Process & Product Control
We apply end-to-end control from raw material selection to final inspection, using suitable analytical and testing methods (e.g. chemical analysis, dimensional checks, microstructure, and relevant non-destructive testing). - Systematic Management
Our quality management is structured with reference to ISO 9001 principles, supported by documented procedures, traceability, and corrective/preventive actions. - Continuous Improvement
We review customer feedback, non-conformities, and process data to drive ongoing improvements in yield, stability, and delivery performance.
4. Human Rights & Work Environment
We respect internationally recognized human rights in our operations and expect the same from our partners.
We commit to:
- No Child or Forced Labor
No employment of individuals below the legal minimum working age; no forced, bonded, or trafficked labor. - Fair Wages & Working Hours
Wages, working hours, and benefits comply with applicable labor laws in each jurisdiction. - Non-Discrimination
Equal opportunity regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, nationality, religion, or other protected characteristics. - Freedom of Association
Respect for employees’ lawful rights to organize and engage in collective dialogue where applicable. - Safe Workplace
Integration of ergonomic, occupational health, and safety considerations into job design, especially for metal powder and chemical handling.
5. Corporate Ethics & Compliance
We conduct business with integrity and in compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
Core requirements:

Respect for intellectual property, technical secrecy, and prohibition of counterfeit products. - Trade Compliance
Screening of relevant transactions against export control and sanctions requirements (e.g. UN, EU, OFAC, and applicable national laws). - Whistleblowing
Channels are available for reporting suspected violations. Retaliation against good-faith reports is prohibited.
6. Safety, Environment & Chemical Management in Refractory Metals
Given the characteristics of refractory metals and powders, we implement specific controls:
- Use of appropriate PPE for dusts, powders, and chemicals.
- Engineering controls, guarding, and interlocks for furnaces, presses, machining, and powder handling lines.
- Classification, labeling, storage, and use of chemicals in line with GHS and applicable regulations.
- Preparedness for fire, explosion, or spill scenarios through documented emergency procedures and regular drills.
7. Responsible Supply Chain
Our expectations extend to suppliers, sub-suppliers, logistics partners, and service providers involved in our materials and products.
Minimum standards:
- Compliance with all applicable laws, including labor, safety, environment, and tax.
- No child labor, forced labor, or involvement in armed conflict financing.
- Prohibition of corruption, facilitation payments, and unfair competition.
- Protection of company and customer property, materials, and information.
- Proper environmental management for emissions, effluents, and wastes.
- Cooperation with our reasonable requests for documentation, audits, or corrective action related to these standards.
